For any breed dog which needs a bit of further training and help now they've hit the adolescent phase.
Dates: Saturdays 2 July, 9 July, 16 July, 23 July Times: 11:15am - 12:15pm Location: West End, nr Woking, Surrey
This four week course is for all breeds of adolescent or older dogs that get over-excited and have impulse control issues.
It is also perfect for rescue/rehomed dogs where the dog would benefit from revisiting essential training which reinforces the bond with their owner. The course is ideal for owners who want to proof their dogs’ behaviours around other dogs and other distractions that cause them to struggle to respond. Enabling the owner to gain better control over their dogs.
On the course we will explore how to improve your recall and loose lead walking as well as how to increase your dog’s focus and impulse control. We will also explore how to improve your dog’s confidence away from you and how to prepare them for vet checks etc.
Dogs learn at different rates and are better at some things more than others; therefore, exercises will be adapted to suit each dog’s individual ability.
Lead and Listen only use science-based positive training methods to reinforce the behaviours that are desirable from our dogs. Positive reinforcement training is force-free, fun and very effective and a great way to bond with your dog.
Adolescence age varies from dog to dog and from breed to breed – this course is ideal for dogs from 4 months and above who would benefit from additional training.
